As we begin the journey of yoga teacher training at Bhav, we anchor ourselves in the wisdom of the Moon. In yogic philosophy, the Moon represents the mind—fluid, ever-changing, yet deeply influential. Before exploring the vast energy of Prana and beyond, we first cultivate steadiness and clarity within.
At Bhav, we recognise that the mind is the gateway to deeper self-awareness. Just as the Moon cycles between fullness and retreat, our minds fluctuate between calm and restlessness. Through dedicated practice, we learn to harness this natural rhythm, guiding ourselves toward inner stability.
Our training integrates Moon practices as a foundation for presence and awareness—key qualities for any yoga teacher. Through less, poses, longer holds and moon style asana, breath-work, and meditation, we quiet the fluctuations of the mind, creating space for insight and clarity.
