WHAT IS SOMATIC MOVEMENT?
Somatic Movement by Psychegetics creates a safe space for free-form ecstatic dance in a chat free zone where you can dive deeply into the heart, reconnecting, expressing, shaking, crawling, dancing in and out, up and down, learning to let go of anything and everything that holds you back from your self and inner freedom. Let the energy move you, let the spirit of the heart guide you. There is space to dance alone and no pressure to connect with anyone else, just be yourself and honour what you need in the moment. This event is Facilitated by Pete Volos and Chris Alleaume, the sessions offer a live dj music journey designed to encourage movement, play, connection, and transformation. It's an invitation to be authentic, to unwind and to respect the sacred space we collectively create. This environment is all-inclusive and nurturing, promoting free expression through movement and music. This is a safe and respectful environment that embraces 'all ways'. Drop your conscious mind at the entrance and just be present in the body. It is a practice that supports the free expression of emotions and inner space through movement and music.
Our intention is self-exploration, connection, healing, expanding human potential and community building through freestyle ecstatic dance. - Next-level, conscious, fun, deep & inspiring live DJ music journey. - A beautiful, sacred, heartful, fun & safe space for you to dance freely in. - Dance like no one is watching! - Connect with like-minded people and fruit sharing after the dance (optional) Please come already dressed in comfortable clothing suitable for movement/fitness. Bring a set of dry clothes/small towel as you will probably get sweaty during the session. Don't forget your water bottle!

ECSTATIC DANCE HOUSE RULES:
1. Judgement free zone. Release all expectations and welcome the unexpected.
2. Dancing is done barefoot or gripped socks.
3. No phones, keep mobile phones on airplane mode and away from the dance.
4. We are a Drug-Free, Smoke-Free, and Alcohol-Free zone.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event that you are unable to attend the workshop, we do require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations. In such case a credit note will be held on your account. Late cancellations & no shows incur full fee. Fully booked/sold out workshops will only be credited if the place can be transferred to another student.
